Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 383 Morris Avenue in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Located between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street, the lot is near the 149th Street-Grand Concourse subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Kevin Yaghoubi is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 21,432 square feet, with 19,289 square feet designated for residential space and 2,143 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 964 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

This block is going to be so boring with all the buildings being the same height. It’s too bad they can’t do something 10-15 floors tall here to add something different.
