Permits have been filed for a 24-story mixed-use building at 147-35 95th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located between Sutphin Boulevard and 148th Street, the lot is close to the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue-JFK Airport subway station, serviced by the E, J, and Z trains. Joel Weiss of Heartfelt Townhouse Build is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 254-foot-tall development will yield 720,248 square feet, with 711,007 square feet designated for residential space and 9,241 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 521 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,364 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 363 enclosed parking spaces.
JFA Architects and Engineers is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
