Two Clinton Park Celebrates Grand Opening At 28 South Division Street In New Rochelle

RXR recently celebrated the grand opening of Two Clinton Park, a 28-story residential tower at 28 South Division Street in New Rochelle. Designed by Lessard Design with MdeAS Architects as the architect of record, the building stands adjacent to its 28-story sibling One Clinton Park, which opened in 2022.

Two Clinton Park yields 390 apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, as well as nearly 24,000 square feet of amenity space and approximately 7,500 square feet of retail space.

Amenities at Two Clinton Park include landscaped terraces, a fitness center, a spa, a library, and private parking. Residents will also have access to RXR’s RXO Home app, which provides access to building services, amenity reservations, and transportation options.

“The completion of this project marks an important milestone in the development of our downtown,” said New Rochelle mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert. “As the fastest growing city in Westchester County and a recently designated Pro-Housing Community by Governor Hochul, Two Clinton Park’s nearly 400 state-of-the-art apartments and its sister building next door help us fulfill our commitment to leading the way on addressing the region-wide housing shortage.”

It’s official now, whoever likes living in this area has the right to choose: Thanks.

  2. Downtown New Rochelle is ugly and crowded. And this says nothing about affordable housing.

  3. What bothers me is that while all of these 30 to 40 story residential towers are going up, there are NO JOBS being created OR no national retail options. New Rochelle’s downtown isn’t PRETTY as the one commentor said. But neither is Stamford, for example. But Stamford has Corporate business and major retail. White Plains downtown is “prettier” than either NR or Stam. because if good planning.

New Rochelle will have to trade off its access to Manhattan especially when Metro North’s Penn access comes on line (IF).

NR definitely needs a couple office buildings to attract smaller businesses and jobs not 30 story LEVIATHANS but enough to attract some nyc back office as well as medical, educational back office.

Additionally, NR needs some MAIN St sort of national retailers, restaurants to supplement the BODEGA type businesses now line downtown. Can we say Starbucks, Apple, Macy’s Backstage, Saks Off 5th, etc. types.

All those thousands of new apartment dwellers need shopping close by without having to go to White Plains or CoOp City. We’ll see.
