Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 37-18 Broadway in Astoria, Queens. Located at the intersection of 38th Street and Broadway, the lot is near the Steinway Street subway station, serviced by the M and R trains. Andrew Magriples of Nema Bradway LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 57-foot-tall development will yield 14,849 square feet, with 13,081 square feet designated for residential space and 1,768 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 817 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long side yard, and eight open parking spaces.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
