The affordable housing lottery has launched for 822 60th Street, a six-story mixed-use building in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Designed by S M Tam Architect and developed by Lee Continuum Management, the structure yields eight residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $112,526 to $250,380.
Residences have name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes, intercoms, energy-efficient appliances, and hardwood floors. Each unit has a balcony or patio and split unit heating and cooling. Tenants are responsible for electricity including heat, and gas including stove and hot water.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,282 for incomes ranging from $112,526 to $181,740; two two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,920 for incomes ranging from $134,400 to $218,010; and one three-bedroom with a monthly rent of $4,513 for incomes ranging from $154,732 to $250,380.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 20, 2024.
