Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 151 Starr Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Irving Avenue and Knickerbocker Avenue, the lot is two blocks from the Dekalb Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Barak NY Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 5,373 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 671 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 36-foot-long rear yard.
Wu Woody Chen of Infocus Design and Planning is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Grass in Bushwick would be nice
Grass? Where we’re going we don’t need grass.
I’m sure this will blend right in.
