Permits have been filed for a five-story high school building at 445 Ovington Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Located between 4th and 5th Avenues, the lot is near the Bay Ridge Avenue subway station, served by the R train. NYC School Construction Authority is listed as the owner and the architect behind the applications.
The proposed 94-foot-tall development will yield 35,373 square feet designated for community facility space. The building components include a cafeteria, auditorium, indoor sport and is projected to have 676 seats. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

This should not be a high school or anything else. It should stay as a senior home and parking garage. The community does not want a high school there. Especially for the element of people there
