The 12-story residential building known as Hendrix House at 250 East 25th Street in Kips Bay, Manhattan recently revealed it’s completed facade after topping off last August. Developed by New Empire Corp. and designed by DXA Studio, the 44,571-square-foot structure at the corner of Second Avenue and East 25th Street yields 60 condominium units. CORE Real Estate is handling sales and marketing, having launched sales in June 2024. Hendrix House has sold 75 percent or 45 units, totaling near $60 million in inventory at $2,133 per square foot.
Residences are available in a mix of studios, one-, and two-bedroom residences. Interiors including the amenity suite is designed by Paris Forino. Amenities include a fitness center with a private yoga and dance studio, a wellness spa with a steam room and sauna, a double-height lobby lounge with concierge, a landscaped courtyard, a co-working center, and rooftop terrace equipped with lounge seating, grills, and dining areas.
Condominium units feature open layouts with home office space, and expansive windows. Home offices are equipped with precision millwork, shelving system, and desk with soft close drawers and cord management. Finishes for kitchens include marble countertops; backsplash and islands; Gaggenau gas cooktops and ovens; and integrated Thermador refrigerators and Bosch dishwashers. Primary baths have custom-built oak vanities with dual sink countertops, bianco sivec marble walls, and SoHo grey quartzite radiant-heated flooring. Secondary baths include silver light marble walls, Duravit toilet and soaking tub, and bianco sivec floors with adjustable radiant heat.
Occupancy is imminent.

Yes, this is better but still uninspired. I guess something fresh and new in architectural design for the city’s neighborhoods would liven up an already dull and uninspired atmosphere. This is much better than so many other buildngs though.
