New permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 40 Kossuth Place in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Bushwick Avenue and Broadway, the lot is one block east of the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Michael Kandinovo of 40 Kossuth Place LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications. Previous permits by Omni Build called for a 62-foot-tall building designed by Zproekt.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 7,413 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 926 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a penthouse and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
HPL Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
