Permits have been filed to expand a three-story structure into a five-story mixed-use building at 133 Manhattan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Meserole Street and Montrose Avenue, the lot is near the Broadway subway station, served by the G train, and the Lorimer Street station, served by the J and M trains. Guy Mor of Ramtom LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 6,633 square feet, with 5,383 square feet designated for residential space, 1,065 square feet for commercial space, and 184 square feet for community facility space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 678 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 20-foot-long rear yard.
Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates Inc. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
