The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2-29 Beach 14th Street, a five-story residential in Far Rockaway, Queens. Designed by SDF Architect and developed by Red Group Management, the structure yields 15 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $96,000 to $227,500.

Amenities include assigned parking spaces, bike storage lockers, and a virtual doorman. Residences are equipped with hardwood floors, air conditioning, patios or balconies, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity including heat, and gas including stove and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,800 for incomes ranging from $96,000 to $227,500.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 30, 2025.

    I just recently found out a former pt of mine placed in a one of these building that is above his income. Why? It seems they are only housing people who have vouchers, mentally ill and who are on disability. MOTT AVE IS AN EYE SORE.

  2. Those apartments are built like Lego those apartments falls apart quickly they moved people from the other borrows making those buildings worse then ever rent crazy high small bedrooms kitchen small like a shoe box they to build something for the youth there’s nothing in Farrockaway

  3. Natalia. What if you had a child who’s mentally ill or disabled? They don’t get to have a place to live? They are human too.
