Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 155 Beach 30th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens. Located between Lewmay Road and the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk, the lot is near the Beach 36th Street subway station, served by the A and S trains. Herman Jacob is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 90,735 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 57 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,591 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 25-foot-long rear yard and 29 enclosed parking spaces.
Leandro Nils Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Dumb. Turn Rockaway west of Far Rockaway into a big beautiful resort.
Get rid of all the dumpy public housing on the NYC Beachfront . Need infrastructure and upscale housing and hotels , otherwise kiss your Rockaway goodbye. No one in their right mind , no matter how liberal wants to live in a dump with no infrastructure
This is a great thing, it will build up the community. Bring stores and restaurants as well. 😀
