    Nowhere near Gowanus!!!

  2. 150 Lawrence is not in the Gowanus area the location is downtown Brooklyn between Fulton and Willoughby close to Jay Street. For those who make that money.

  5. How is this remotely affordable? This is not affordable housing. I mean try to look out for working class people. To afford this rent, I’d need to work 2-3 jobs. Please do better.,

On Disability on a fixed budget at age 63. Worked my entire life. I’m homeless and refuse to go to a filthy shelter. Affordable housing is called gaslighting the poor! High rise going up all over New York and all the boroughs. But it’s for the wealthy families.

I don’t understand when they say affordable apartments and your income level has to be over 73,000 and my income is not even 40,000 how can some one who works and is on the minimum wage tell me who are these these apartments for

  8. This is sad, gentrification is real, more importantly most people who meet those incomes are two persons income, whether husband or wife, partner or child who may be working. Then let’s not forget the privilege afforded some. I know for a fact that there are those who live very very well and have regular jobs like most people I know and are here now who can’t afford it. How are those who are without struggle able to do it. I see privilege for sure. Stay encouraged people, justice will prevail ‼️
