Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 214 Newkirk Avenue in Kensington, Brooklyn. Located between East 8th Street and Ocean Parkway, the lot is two blocks from the Newkirk Plaza subway station, served by the B and Q trains. Oleg Krasnitskiy is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 18,734 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 28 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 669 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and four open parking spaces.

Yuriy Menzak of Menzak Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
