Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 459 Linwood Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Pitkin Avenue and Glenmore Avenue, the lot is near the Shepherd Avenue subway station, served by the C train. Yitz Friedman under the 455 Linwood LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 30-foot-tall development will yield 7,498 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 11 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 681 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 20-foot-long rear yard.
Lester Katz, NCarb is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
