Permits have been filed to convert a nine-story community facility into a ten-story mixed-use building at 297 North 7th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located on the intersection of Meeker Avenue and North 7th Street, the lot is near the Metropolitan Avenue/Lorimer Street subway station, served by the G and L trains. Mark Rigerman is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 125-foot-tall development will yield 27,556 square feet, with 21,768 square feet designated for residential space, 4,939 square feet for community facility space, and 847 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 23 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 946 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have eight enclosed parking spaces.

Paul Jensen of Strekte Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
