Permits have been filed for a 13-story residential building at 15 Oak Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of West Street and Oak Street, the waterfront lot is also known as 57 West Street. The site is located closest to the Greenpoint Avenue subway station, served by the G train. Bruce Weill, executive vice president at TF Cornerstone is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 138-foot-tall development will yield 249,181 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 268 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 929 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have one commercial loading berth.
SLCE Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
