Salvation Church of God has acquired a 2.69-acre development site at 6065 Strickland Avenue in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, for $20.575 million. The vacant waterfront parcel is situated in a predominantly residential area characterized by single-family homes. It was previously used as a vehicle storage and garage facility.

6065 Strickland Avenue is located in proximity to a mix of commercial and recreational uses, including Kings Plaza Shopping Center and Lindower Park, which features sports courts, playgrounds, and direct waterfront access. At this time, the Salvation Church of God has not announced plans for how the parcel will be used.

Nearby public transit options include the B41 bus with service to Flatbush Avenue–Brooklyn College station, served by the 2 and 5 trains, and the BM1 express bus to Midtown, Manhattan.

The transaction was arranged by JLL Capital Markets.

“6065 Strickland Avenue represents exactly the kind of real estate assignment that requires thoughtfulness and vision,” said Michael Mazzara, managing director at JLL. “Matching a rare waterfront parcel with a buyer committed to long-term community benefit underscores the role JLL strives to play as a strategic advisor. Our goal is always to help clients see not just what a site is today, but what it can become for generations.”
