Permits have been filed for a 14-story residential building at 20 Brook Avenue in Port Morris, The Bronx. The proposed 145-foot-tall development will yield 194,886 square feet designated for residential space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 37-foot-long rear yard.

Shmuel Wieder of S. Wieder Architect P.C. is listed as the architect of record.

    # 20 Brook Ave is near Bruckner Blvd not 146 Street. Closest train is the # 6 at Brook Ave and 138 Street.

“The building will have 99 residences with a total 297 units on the lot”
Are they separating the lot into 3 separate buildings? Or it’s 3 separate lots with three 99-unit buildings?

  3. Google Maps failed you guys this time. Like the other commenter suggested, 20 Brook Ave is a parcel that is on Brook Ave between 132nd and Bruckner Blvd. That’s firmly in Mott Haven near a lot of the other new developments in that part of The Bronx.

    • This is correct. It’s probably the large open lot just west of the Mobil station. It probably will include the Mobil station, that little structure on Bruckner and likely the small building on 132 St.
