Permits have been filed for a single-story house of worship at 16-77 George Street in Ridgewood, Queens. Located between Wyckoff Avenue and Cypress Avenue, the lot is near the Halsey Street subway station, served by the L train. Jason Rivera under the CONSTRUCTIONLAB LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 13,597 square feet, with 9,479 square feet designated for community facility space. The steel-based structure will also have four enclosed parking spaces.

Sherif Abdel-Meseh of Urban Design Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed last month for the gas station that was previously on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
