Construction is complete on 19-21 East 198th Street, two conjoined residential buildings in Bedford Park, The Bronx. Designed by Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects and developed by AG holdings Group, the complex consists of 19 East 198th Street with 99 apartments and 21 East 198th Street with 67 units. Thirty-four of the 166 units are designated as affordable housing, and 20 parking spaces are available for rent to residents of both buildings. The 112-foot-tall structures are located between Jerome and Creston Avenues.

Hope House Completes Construction at 849 Crotona Park North In Crotona, The Bronx

Construction is complete on Hope House on Crotona Park, a six-story residential facility at 849 Crotona Park North in Crotona, The Bronx. Designed by EQ Architecture and Design and developed by the Greenburger Center for Social and Criminal Justice, the 12,000-square-foot structure contains 16 beds across eight double-occupancy rooms for adults living with serious mental illness who have been charged with felony-level crimes. The $13 million project operates as a residential Alternative to Incarceration, or ATI, offering a voluntary, court-referred program with an expected length of stay of one to two years.

Permits have been filed for a 17-story mixed-use building at 489 East 152nd Street in Melrose, The Bronx. Located between Third Avenue and Bergen Avenue, the lot is near the Third Avenue–149 Street subway station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. A new rendering has been revealed for Vernon Point, a planned 16-story residential building at 44-68 Vernon Boulevard in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Archimaera and developed by Elmrod Management, the 142,697-square-foot structure will yield 161 units and lower-level commercial space. The property is bounded by 44th Drive to the north, 45th Avenue to the south, and Vernon Boulevard to the east.

Demolition Nears Completion for ABBA Voyage Experiential Concert Hall at 613 Eleventh Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Demolition is finishing up at 613 Eleventh Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, the site of ABBA Voyage, an experimental concert venue featuring holographic likenesses of the Swedish pop band. Developed by Extell Development Company, the 174,842-square-foot facility will have a capacity of 3,000 attendees and will include 28,101 square feet of below-grade parking. A third party will operate the venue under a 30-year lease agreement. The 60,250-square-foot property is bounded by Eleventh Avenue and West 45th and West 46th Streets.
