Property owner Han Zhang Kang has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 61-29 163rd Street, in Kew Gardens Hills, located in central Queens between the downtowns of Flushing and Jamaica. The structure will measure 4,800 square feet, and its full-floor residential units should average a family-sized 1,189 square feet apiece. The project’s amenities include three off-street parking spaces and laundry facilities in the cellar. Thomas Tung’s Flushing-based architectural company is the applicant of record. The 40-foot-wide lot is currently occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed in March.
