Development is accumulating to the city with 24-story, habitual of the project takes action everyday.
You can barely move on this stretch of 8th Ave as it is, whether pedestrian, bicycle, car, it is a mess. Not sure how taxi drop offs and pickups will work here.
Not the ideal neighborhood to dump another load of tourists.
8th ave and west 36th street. Just three blocks from Penn Station, MSG, post office, and not far from Hudson Yards neighborhood, and you right tonns of new hotel constructions, between Port Authority Bus Terminal and New Yorker Hotel on sides steets either to 7th or to 9th Ave blocks from Eight. Area already clogged with tourist and people who rush to from Port Authority and Penn Station. Eight Avenue also home of Extended Penn Plaza and Times Square office buildings. All between Eleven Times Square and 15 Penn Plaza. But area still have old not nice buildings, what’s should be either renovated or torn down. Area must be renovated anyway, and construction of newer taller building is always positive things, unless they don’t overwhelm the whole street scape and have nice modern architecture, it’s a New York City by the way!
