In 2015, Fortis Property Group laid out plans to redevelop the Long Island College Hospital property, located on several blocks in Cobble Hill. One proposal was for as-of-right development, while the other required an individual rezoning, approved through the city’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP). The developer has decided to move forward with the as-of-right plan, which will not include any affordable residential units, Politico reported.
Plans for the mixed-use project weren’t revealed with the latest decision, but it’s been previously reported that the as-of-right version could include as much as 528,935 square feet of residential space, 262,555 square feet of community facility space, and 23,375 square feet of public space.
Plans are already underway to develop eight four-story townhouses at 88-96 Amity Street, a five-story NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Clinic at 70 Atlantic Avenue, and to convert the eight-story building at 350 Henry Street into 17 residential units.

May be the most important to move forward, with the whole number to plans in addition.
Screwed by the governor again
There is only one decent Hospital in BK for 2.5 million people, what a mess.
I don’t know which is worse: their audacity to to exist as they most likely will; or their aesthetics. (They are, in my humble opinion, hideous, mundane, common, out-of-context, lacking in inspiration, they add n o t h i n g to the urban context.
They are obnoxious.
If something this offensive is going to be done, at least dress it in a veil of palatability.
4 lanes are shown on each side of the bqe.. hidden future proposal?
