A Queens-based property owner has filed applications for two four-story, six-unit residential buildings at 31-31 and 31-33 30th Street, in the heart of Astoria. Both buildings will measure 6,163 square feet each. Across both, the residential units should average 750 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Dezhang Fang’s Flushing-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 5,000-square-foot assemblage is occupied by two two-story townhouses. Demolition permits were filed in October. The Broadway stop on the N and W trains is around the block.
