Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 758 East 219th Street in The Bronx’s Williamsbridge neighborhood. The site is just half a block away from the 219th Street Subway Station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. The surrounding area is predominantly residential, with some retail surrounding the Subway Station. Marjan Gjonaj, owner of the site, will be responsible for the development.

The 38-foot tall structure will yield 8,580 square feet of space, with 6,430 square feet of residential space, and 600 square feet for a medical facility on the first floor. Nine apartments will be created, averaging 714 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have access to store 5 bicycles, as well as accessory storage within the cellar.

Badaly Architects will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed in August last year. Completion is expected in 18 to 24 months.
