Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 116-01 101st Avenue in South Ozone Park, Queens. The site is two avenues away from the Lefferts Boulevard Subway Station, the last stop in Queens for the A train. SP 116th Realty will be responsible for the development.
The 43-foot tall structure will yield 7,050 square feet of space, with 2,400 square feet dedicated to ground floor commercial-retail use, and 4,650 square feet for residential use. Seven apartments will be created, averaging 664 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. A ground floor unit extending into the cellar will be designed for the use of a handicapped tenant.
Leverich Design Studio will be responsible for the architecture.
Demolition permits have not been filed, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.
