Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 237 Utica Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks away from the Utica Avenue Subway Station on Eastern Parkway, serviced by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains, and nine blocks away from the Utica Avenue Subway Station on Fulton Street, serviced by the A and C trains. Utica Avenue Realty Corporation will be responsible for the development.
The 48-foot tall structure will yield 8,200 square feet of space, with 920 square feet dedicated to ground floor commercial-retail use, 730 square feet for a medical facility on the first floor, and 4,860 square feet for residential use. Six apartments will be created, averaging 810 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will have access to accessory storage and a lobby.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the two-story structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
