Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 6915 15th Avenue, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks away from the 71st Street Subway Station, serviced by the D train. TLK Group will be responsible for the development.
The 33-foot tall structure will yield 28,290 square feet, with 15,220 square feet dedicated to residential use, and 4,770 square feet for a basement medical facility, counted as one of the four floors.
18 residences will be created, averaging 845 square feet apiece, suggesting rentals. Floors one and two will harbor seven apartments each, with just four units on the top level. Capacity for 15 parking spaces and 11 bicycle storage spaces will be located within the cellar.
Manhattan-based Chi F. Lau Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits for the existing single-story structure were filed in early October 2017. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
