The St. Regis Residences Rye has officially broken ground in New York’s Westchester County, in the City of Rye. Located at 120 Old Post Road, the new development will replace a vacant, three-story office building, with sales anticipated to launch this Fall.
Designed by Perkins Eastman, the $100 million gated development will also be the world’s first St. Regis Residences property to operate without a hotel.
The residential complex is comprised of five distinct condominium buildings ranging from three to four stories tall. Residences are said to offer “gracious, open floor plans” with 9-10 foot ceilings, gas fireplaces, outdoor balconies, luxury brand fixtures and appliances, and hardwood flooring throughout.
In total, the development will introduce 95 luxury condominiums that range from one to four bedrooms accompanied by a lush assortment of amenities. The complex will also include 13 surface-level parking spaces and an enclosed garage designed to accommodate 214 vehicles.
Amenities account for 25,000 square feet of area and include indoor and outdoor pools, a new fitness center, a golf simulator, spa treatment rooms, a library, a pet spa, and more. Future residents will also have access to lushly manicured gardens and courtyards, walking paths, and communal fire pits.
On May 17th, officials from Westchester County, New York State, and the City of Rye joined executives from developer Alfred Weissman Real Estate (AWRE) and Marriott International, to celebrate the start of construction.
“We are so pleased to bring the very first stand-alone St. Regis Residences to the market,” said Alan Weissman, Principal of AWRE. “Our commitment is to create a visionary residential community for Rye and Westchester that is second to none.”

Please pardon me for using your space: Concern of construction started for beautifully designed.
Is this a union project ?
I believe this is supposed to be a senior living development but none of the articles I’ve seen mention that. That’s the only way it got approved, since our schools are already bursting at the seams.
Not surprised if it was approved and then changed; wouldn’t be the first time. Hope you’re a rich senior, words like luxury and lush has a certain connotation.
Read somewhere this is to be a senior housing community. Hoping seniors can afford to purchase into the St.Regis.
If its down the corner from Osborne Home in Rye, I doubt these will be affordable for the average senior…
