Permits have been filed for two 12-story buildings at 212 and 224 West 124th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. The site is in the heart of Harlem, near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, and three blocks from the 125th Street subway station with the A, B, C, and D trains. Moses Strulowtiz of the CS Real Estate Group is behind the applications.
The 112-foot tall structures will yield 234,840 square feet, with 227,000 square feet dedicated to residential use. 216 units will be created, averaging 950 square feet apiece, which would mean rentals or condominiums. 120 parking spaces will be included, consuming 21,600 square feet of the building.
There are two architects on record for the development. Victor Body-Lawson is listed for 212 West 124th Street, with 224 to be designed by Fischer & Makooi Architects. This project is a unique opportunity to totally redefine West 124th Street between Fredrick Douglass and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

Please pardon me for using your space: Factors fine for reporting that dedicated to developments. (Don’t erase it)
On these affordable buildings how long is the rent frozen for? When does it go up if evrr?
There are blds there already. All these people have to find new dwellings? Oh, right…what do they care?
The building are all empty and inhabitable.
It horrible, I’ve been trying to get in that building for years, and in the one they have in 1223 street. That where they move to. From 124 street. They keep saying they don’t have any. Won’t even let you speak to anyone or a phone. They have it lock up tight.
I’ve been trying to get a application for years, they “never” had one. I live 121 street between 7th and 8th avenue. I use to stop their 3 or 4 times a week. They “never” had a application.
They will probably become condos for the rich.
when can people who live in the harlem community all they lives, and apply for a apartment? like me.
