Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 951 Olmstead Avenue in Unionport, The Bronx. The site is fourteen blocks away from the Castle Hill Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 trains. Matt Roth of the Heights Advisors will be responsible for the development.
The 70-foot tall structure will yield 106,250 square feet, with 88,700 square feet dedicated to residential use. 128 apartments will be included, averaging 830 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will benefit from a lobby, recreation room, a bicycle storage room, a laundry room, and a basement community room. A 64-car garage will be included on site.
Tan Architect PC will be responsible for the design.
The lot is currently vacant, meaning construction can start as soon permits are approved. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
