In an announcement from The Carlton Group, Managing Director Ruth Barone has successfully coordinated private financing of Seabreeze Tower in Coney Island. The $47.5 million financing package will facilitate construction of the 22-floor residential tower.
Located at the corner of 271 Sea Breeze Avenue, the building will comprise just under 180,000 square feet, including about 27,000 square feet of commercial space and community facilities. Out of 114 residences, 30% will be marketed as permanently affordable homes.
Designed by architects Zproekt, apartments will range from one to three bedroom layouts offering 11-foot ceilings and premium appliances. Residential amenities include a fitness center, children’s playroom, bike storage, additional temperature controlled storage areas, and outdoor recreation space. Future occupants will also have access to an on-site parking garage designed to accommodate 135 vehicles.
The project is expected to achieve LEED Platinum Certification. RYBAK Development’s estimated completion date is Summer 2020.
