Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 4656 Park Avenue in Belmont, The Bronx. Located between East 186th Street and East 187th Street, the interior lot is six city blocks east of the Fordham Road subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Kambiz Yaghoobian is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 56-foot tall project will yield 18,548 square feet, with 14,970 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 22 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a rear yard 38 feet long.

Mohammad Badaly of Badaly Architect PLLC is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

    • Are you facetiously referring to their tendency towards v plain buildings? (I’m being generous by saying ‘plain’)

  3. I have a Badaly design building 8ft away from my backyard. I really wish they would change their style and design in the Bronx. It seems like they buy their materials from one supplier. Same design all the time.

    • Ugghhh, you are so right. I just went on their website. Almost each and every (except 2) buildings look exactly the same. They lack imagination/vision or just building bland housing because it’s The Bronx and they think people won’t notice.
