Permits have been filed for a seven-story apartment building at 995 President Street, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Franklin Avenue and Classon Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks south of the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Hakan Kiran of Vision Developers LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 69-foot tall development will yield 14,487 square feet, with 11,763 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 11 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,069 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and 46-foot long rear yard.
Serdar Ceylan of Ceylan Design and Consulting is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in January of 2018. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
