Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1699 East New York Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Dean Street and Powell Street, the lot is two blocks from the Atlantic Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Dianping Chen is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 15,323 square feet, with 9,215 square feet designated for residential space and 1,950 square feet for commercial use. The building will have ten residences, most likely condos with an average unit scope of 921 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 23-foot-long rear yard.

Robert H. Lin of A&T Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
