Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 491 Thatford Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Hegeman Avenue and Lott Avenue, the lot is near the New Lots Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Guy Tamir of Open Door Realty Service LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 5233.72 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 654 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 34-foot-long rear yard.
Manuel Zarate of MZ Architecture PLLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed last month for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
