Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 42-08 Bowne Street in East Flushing, Queens. Located between Franklin Avenue and Ash Avenue, the lot is near the Main Street subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Meiyun Chen under the Winz Tower LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 49-foot-tall development will yield 13,256 square feet, with 7,331 square feet designated for residential space and 1,857 square feet for commercial use. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 733 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar.
Chang Hwa Tan of Tan Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
