Located on the corner of West 165th Street and University Avenue, the lot is near the West 167th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Samuel Brach of 1058 Bronx LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 25,379 square feet, with 18,508 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 711 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and seven enclosed parking spaces.
A rendering of the development shows a a dark brick façade atop a concrete base, with multiple cutouts along the corner of the structure creating private outdoor space.
Zambrano Architectural Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
