Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 17-11 Hancock Street in Ridgewood, Queens. Located between Cypress Avenue and Myrtle Avenue, the through lot is a few blocks from the Seneca Avenue subway station, serviced by the M train. Leo Kaufman under the Hancock Residence LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 47,756 square feet, with 39,673 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 60 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 661 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Amr Ouda is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
