Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 30-43 31st Street in Astoria, Queens. Located between 30th Avenue and 30th Drive, the interior lot is just steps from the 30th Ave subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Hui Mei Lin under the 168 Astoria Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 24,049 square feet, with 11,969 square feet designated for residential space, 3,745 square feet for commercial space, and 2,903 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 17 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 704 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and 13 enclosed parking spaces.
Robert H. Lin of A&T Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in December 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
