Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 923 Lafayette Avenue in Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Lewis Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks from the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Shai Birenzweig under the 923 Lafayette LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 7,112 square feet, with 4,973 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 710 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 41-foot-long rear yard.
Woody Chen of Infocus is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
