Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 146-18 Liberty Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located between Liverpool Street and Waltham Street, the interior lot is closest to the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue-JFK subway station, serviced by the E, J, and Z trains. Jasbir Singh unde the 146 Liberty Avenue, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 72-foot-tall development will yield 41,188 square feet, with 27,259 square feet designated for residential space and 1,770 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 34 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 801 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and ten enclosed parking spaces.
Pirooz Soltanizadeh of Pirooz Engineering PC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Liberty Ave has become a dump. It’s overcrowded and full of illegals. More bars than anyone needs. Another permit for more housing for the illegals.
With all the structures being built in Jamaica Queens why aren’t they affordable to people with programs.Yet there advertised as affordable housing.
