Construction is approaching completion at 25 Great Jones Street, aka 22 Bond Street, an 11-story condominium building in NoHo. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Second Development Services and Richport Group, the structure contains six residential units with prices starting at $9.8 million, and will include a penthouse that reportedly spans about 4,000 square feet. BKSK Architects is also in charge of the interior design.
Photographs by Tectonic show the state of work at the property, which is located just east of the intersection of Great Jones Street and Lafayette Street. The exterior appears largely complete with the signature rust-colored fins all in place and only minor touches to the ground floor outstanding. Progress has been a little slower on the interiors, as seen through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Overall, work has moved quite slowly since our last check-in in August 2019, but it’s nice to see that the end of construction is finally closing in.
Below are some interior renderings that can also be seen on the main website for 22 Bond Street. Units will feature double-height custom kitchens designed by Smallbone, gallery-ready surfaces, and ceiling heights from 10.5 to 22 feet.
Unit A on level two is a 2,939-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home with a balcony; Unit B on level three is a 3,358-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home with two balconies; Unit C is the same as Unit A; Unit D is the same as unit B. Located on the eighth and ninth floors, Unit PH-A is a 3,828-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home with two balconies and an outdoor terrace; and Unit PH-B is a 3,939-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home with two balconies and two outdoor terraces. Amenities include a private garden designed by Future Green Studio and artwork installations by Federico Uribe and Roy Nachum.
The nearest subways are the 4 and 6 trains at the Bleecker Street station and the B, D, F, and M trains at the Broadway-Lafayette station. Both are located to the south of the address.
It looks like 22 Bond Street will likely be completed before the end of the year or in early 2021 at the latest.
