Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 231 Brighton 2nd Lane in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Located between Brighton 2nd Place and Brighton 2nd Path, the interior lot is near the Brighton Beach subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Eka Kobiashvili is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 3,957 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have four residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 989 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have two enclosed parking spaces.
Alix Michel of Citiscape Consulting is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the 1930s one-story residential home on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
