Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 684 Dean Street in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Underhill Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue, the interior lot is a few blocks north of the 7th Avenue subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Sam Zima under the 684 Dean Partners LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 8,695 square feet, with 7,741 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have six residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,290 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, mezzanine, and a 32-foot-long rear yard.
Tahir Demircioglu of Builtd is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June 2020 for a two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
