Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 1301 Newkirk Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Newkirk Avenue and Argyle Road, the lot is also addressed as 585 Argyle Road. Two blocks east is the Newkirk Plaza subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Mark Beinhorn under the Newkirk Equities LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 64-foot-tall development will yield 33,462 square feet, with 26,962 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 35 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 770 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Anthony Daniels of Cycle Architecture + Planning is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
