The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1250 New York Avenue, a four-story residential building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The 9,628-square-foot development was designed by Paul J. Hessel, and yields ten units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $65,143 to $167,570.
Residential amenities include bike storage lockers, hardwood floors, and energy-efficient appliances.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a $1,900 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $65,143 to $139,620, and two two-bedrooms with a $2,100 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $72,000 to $167,570.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 24, 2021.
