The affordable housing lottery has launched for 25-49 38th Street, a four-story residential building in Astoria, Queens. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $83,418 to $167,570.
Amenities include a rooftop terrace, storage, gym, elevator, covered parking, assigned parking space, and security cameras. Apartments have washers and dryers in unit, dishwashers, energy-efficient appliances, hardwood floors, air conditioning, and patios or balconies.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five one-bedrooms with a $2,433 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $83,418 to $167,570, and two two-bedrooms with a $2,938 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $100,732 to $167,570.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 17, 2021.
