The affordable housing lottery has launched for 455 Onderdonk Avenue, a five-story residential building in Ridgewood, Queens. Designed by Chang Hwa Tan Architect, the structure yields 16,381 square feet and 15 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $$61,715 to $167,570.
455 Onderdonk Avenue Apartments
Units will have name-brand countertops and finishes, hardwood floors, energy-efficient appliances, dishwashers, air conditioning, and patios or balconies. Residents will also have access to a shared laundry room, bike storage lockers, gym, common area Wi-Fi, storage, a garage with electric vehicle charging stations, and a rooftop terrace.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three one-bedrooms with a $1,800 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $61,715 to $139,620, and two two-bedrooms with a $2,100 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $72,000 to $167,570.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than July 21, 2021.
